Putnam Valley Real Estate

Putnam Valley is a great rural/suburban hybrid town with a great community, fantastic public school system, and beautiful scenery. The town is well known for It's lakes, especially Lake Oscawana, where the Sopranos shot many scenes. The town park is well kept and for many the center of activity in town. The population was 11,809 at the 2010 census. Its location is northeast of New York City, in the southwest part of Putnam County. Many residents of Putnam Valley commute to New York City daily for work or recreational purposes. Putnam Valley calls itself the "Town of Lakes".
